Besides supporting the Iraq War, he is one of the most liberals senators in Washington. He was even the VP candidate just six years ago with Algore, another hyper-liberal ... So please, explain what is the problem and why is it so important that he be defeated?

It is his support of the War in Iraq, and the party core wants a unified party going into the 2006/2008 election cycle.

I think that the main reason is because he supports the Iraq War. I mean, I voted for him last time and I will not vote for him again. I dont think he is as liberal as people think he is. But then again, Ned Lamont is an idiot
