You are correct marilynmonroe1515. No matter what any of these people say, we are genetically born homosexual. There is no denying the facts that have been proven in the studies which you can access though the links I have provided below. Don't let them get to you, they deny fact all the time. The christian community denies fact because it literally a requirement for their religion to deny it. Fortunately we all know that belief can't beat fact and you can't deny proof when proven on every level. Don't let them get to you marilynmonroe they are fools and aren't worth wasting your just as worthy time on. Do check out the links and find out how exactly you are what you are, whether they deny it or not.

Where you got the idea that being abused makes you Gay is beyond me.
I was not abused by either parent, and yet I am Gay.
My first memory of finding a male attractive was at the age of 4. Friends of my parents had a son my age and I thought he was so cute.
The youngest being Gay? That would mean the second child born would be Gay because it was the youngest. But then again if a third child was born, then it would be Gay. But what if a fourth child was born, would it be Gay. God, then we all should be Gay except the first born.
Or should the first born be Gay too? When it was born, it was the youngest.
I am in fourth place in a group of 6 kids, and I am the only one that is Gay.

PERSON VIEW_
It is a choice for me. I was not born to like women, and I don't think anyone was born gay.
My view-
Religious View---
We were created in the eyes of the Lord our God. God never was, never has been and never will be gay. Gay sex is forbidden in the Bible. It is wrong.
Non-Religious View---
It is not natural to be gay. Humans are here to procreate and populate. How can gays do that? They can't. If being Gay\y were "natural" then the human race would cease to continue. Women can't have babies with out men and men can't without women. Natural course of life. Gay people cant reproduce. Sure you can bring science into this and say that a Les can get artificial insemination, but that is not natural. That is science, and it has only been around for a small amount of time compared to the human race. IT IS NOT NATURAL.

I personally believe that I was born gay. I knew no one gay growing up. No one else in my family is gay that I know of (at least not openly gay). I didn't even meet anyone that was openly gay until AFTER I realized I was a lesbian.
No, I was not abused/molested as a child. I grew up with both of my straight parents (my father passed away when I was 28). No one...NO ONE that I know who is gay/lesbian has ever "chosen" to be so. They just are.
and, this bears repeating as well. someone else posted this when this same question was asked not too long ago:
answer these questions?
see how you feel afterwards
HETEROSEXUAL QUESTIONNAIRE
(©1972, Martin Rochlin, Ph.D. Reprinted with permission from the author.)
This questionnaire is for self-avowed heterosexuals only. If you are not openly heterosexual, pass it on to a friend who is. Please try to answer the questions as candidly as possible. Your responses will be held in strict confidence and your anonymity fully protected.
1. What do you think caused your heterosexuality?
2. When and how did you first decide you were a heterosexual?
3. Is it possible your heterosexuality is just a phase you may grow out of?
4. Could it be that your heterosexuality stems from a neurotic fear of others of the same sex?
5. If you’ve never slept with a person of the same sex, how can you be sure you wouldn’t prefer that?
6. To whom have you disclosed your heterosexual tendencies? How did they react?
7. Why do heterosexuals feel compelled to seduce others into their lifestyle?
8. Why do you insist on flaunting your heterosexuality? Can’t you just be what you are and keep it quiet?
9. Would you want your children to be heterosexual, knowing the problems they’d face?
10. A disproportionate majority of child molesters are heterosexual men. Do you consider it safe to expose children to heterosexual male teachers, pediatricians, priests, or scoutmasters?
11. With all the societal support for marriage, the divorce rate is spiraling. Why are there so few stable relationships among heterosexuals?
12. Why do heterosexuals place so much emphasis on sex?
13. Considering the menace of overpopulation, how could the human race survive if everyone were heterosexual?
14. Could you trust a heterosexual therapist to be objective? Don’t you fear s/he might be inclined to influence you in the direction of her/his own leanings?
15. Heterosexuals are notorious for assigning themselves and one another rigid, stereotyped sex roles. Why must you cling to such unhealthy role-playing?
16. With the sexually segregated living conditions of military life, isn’t heterosexuality incompatible with military service?
17. How can you enjoy an emotionally fulfilling experience with a person of the other sex when there are such vast differences between you? How can a man know what pleases a woman sexually or vice-versa?
18. Shouldn’t you ask your far-out straight cohorts, like skinheads and born-agains, to keep quiet? Wouldn’t that improve your image?
19. Why are heterosexuals so promiscuous?
20. Why do you attribute heterosexuality to so many famous lesbian and gay people? Is it to justify your own heterosexuality?
21. How can you hope to actualize your God-given homosexual potential if you limit yourself to exclusive, compulsive heterosexuality?
22. There seem to be very few happy heterosexuals. Techniques have been developed that might enable you to change if you really want to. After all, you never deliberately chose to be a heterosexual, did you? Have you considered aversion therapy or Heterosexuals Anonymous?

I believe there is something that gay people are just 'born' like that. You often hear stories from gays about how they always felt 'different' growing up, not fitting in, etc. There's also those who try to live a 'straight' life but are just living a lie. I do believe, in instances of extreme abuse, there are those who find they are more comfortable with those of the same sex as opposed to the opposite sex.
I'm straight myself, but I am sick of those who still make homosexuality such a stigma and deem it as such a bad thing. You love who you love...what's so bad about that?

I believe that some people are born homosexual whilst some chose to be.. I have been with my girlfriend for 3 years and before that I was with men.. I was happy with men, it wasnt from a bad relationship that I seeked solace in a woman.. I fell in love, and as far as Im concerned.. Love is all that matters! so I wasnt going to put my feelings aside because "society" doesnt approve of what I do... Anyone who wants to take away what I have.. That is the In humain thing to do... I am in love with love and I will go wherever it takes me! Anoyone who would forfeit love due to there "religious beliefs" I love or be loved!

I believe they are born that way. The continuing science seems to be proving it. The latest news I heard was that most gay men are usually younger brothers. That works for all the gay guys I know - they all are the younger brothers. The other scientific report that was recently out was that gay men react more like women when being turned on by pheromones.

Sorry if some people were rude to you. This question gets asked about four times a week, so maybe they forget that you haven't been reading everyday.
I think most of us were born this way. I sure was. I tried really hard to be straight, and it just wouldn't work for me.

no one is born homosexual, they choose to be that way. i don't know if it's from abuse or just deciding, but what ever it is no is one born that way; because God didn't create anyone to come into this world being attracted to the same sex.

Well, I never got the f*cking survey that asked me what I wanted to be, DID YOU? What a stupid question. Do you REMEMBER WANTING TO BE STRAIGHT? Thinking "oh wow, I think I'll like boys INSTEAD?" I doubt it. Well, I don't remember thinking the opposite either, and not all of us (sure some of us were abused) but some of us had perfectly happy, wonderful childhoods. You really don't think much, or deeply, do you?
