I just watched the movie for the first time and just before they told me what the kid knew about Bruce Willis, my DVD player went nuts!
How does it end?!?!?!

Bruce Willis was a ghost but the kid didn't know that Bruce Willis was a ghost though. The kid was in his mother's car and there was a traffic jam. There was a biker that got killed by a car or something like that. The kid saw the dead biker and he somehow gained the courage to tell his mother the "special talent" that he possessed. He told his mother that his grandmother (the mother's mother) told him something when they visited his grandmother's tomb. He said there was something he didn't understand. Her grandmother told him that she appreciated what his mother said to her at the tomb and he asked his mother what she said to her grandmother. Her mother finally broke down in tears and she now believed that her kid was not lying when he said he could see dead people. And then the scene changed; Bruce Willis went back to where his wife lived and He started to talk to his wife asking her why she didn't respond him and all that. And then he paused a moment and he saw that she was watching their wedding video. His wife had her wedding band on and there was one more wedding band sitting on the table. Bruce Willis looked closer and he found that it was his wedding band that was sitting on the table. He thought to himself, how could this happen because he never took his wedding band. But just as his right hand tried to touch his wedding on his left hand, he found that the ring was not there anymore. So, he was completely shocked as to how he lost his ring. And that's when all the memories came to him of how he was shot by some guy, and also how the kid told him that famous "I see dead people" speech. The kid said that those dead people didn't know that they are dead; somehow, they came back to fullfill some unfinished business. And it all makes sense to Bruce Willis now. For all these times, he thought his wife didn't love him anymore because she never responded to him when he talked to him. Since Bruce Willis is dead and his wife does not have the ability to talk to the dead, of course, she wouldn't respond to him.

Bruce finds out that he is really dead, and that the kid was the only one that could see him and that he was there to tell his wife that he loved her and will always be with her in her heart, and then it was him time to go and he went to heaven. Then the kid tell his mom that he can see dead people after seeing the woman that was hit while riding her bike, and says that grandma says hi and that she came to see her dance and thought she was great. That she wasnt mad at her for taking the bumblebee pendant, because she knew that she loved it a lot. Then they both cried and that is how it ended.

Bruce willis finds out he is dead, he then goes to his wife and says goodbye. The boy goes on to tell his Mom about his special gift.

Bruce Willis finds out that when Cole was telling him about seeing dead people that don't know they're dead that he was talking about him (willis). So he says goodbye to his wife while she is sleeping and it ends.

Bruce Willis finds out that he is one of the dead people Haley Joel Osment is seeing. Haley Joel Osment characters comes to terms with his special situation and starts to help the dead people instead of just freaking out every time he sees them.

bruce willis figures out that he is a ghost and then he remembers how the little boy can see ghosts and realizes that the boy is talking about him when he says "i can see dead people" and then he figures out why his wife isn't talking to him and that night when one of his patients shot him, he died. the little boy helps a girl that was poisoned by her mom by taking a tape with evidence of her death to the girl's father. then in the very end, the little boy confesses to his mother that he can see dead people and she doesn't believe him, but then he tells him the truth about her mother, and how she did care about her when she was young. and that was pretty much the end, i guess.

but yea. so basically bruce goes home and tries to talk to his wife and she's crying and watching their wedding videos. Then she's like..."why didnt you leave me?" and he says.."i didnt..." then she drops a wedding ring on the floor and it rolls toward him. he looks at his hand and he has no ring on. THEN it hits him.
He starts to freak out and then the wife sighs and her breath is foggy!!!! So we know HE is a ghost!!! It flashes back to the shooting. And we see him die.

CAL, fix or replace your dvd, and rent it again! You dont know what you're missing. It was the best part of the movie!!!
