Any doubt call your doctor but near end of pregnancy women get excited at every ache and pain. Pressure is completley normal and so are braxton hicks contractions. Cramping is normal as well. If you start bleeding or feel not movement at all in a 3 hour time frame try drinking some caffiene and do some walking. This should wake the baby up. If still no movement go tot he dr. If your ultra sound has said you and the baby are fine in most cases you are. Only worry when there is blood. Which even then it could just mean you lost your mucus plug and have blooddy show. ( as long as it's not like a period) You can also try laying from side to side and push a little down on the top of your belly. This will also wake the baby. Babies don't have a lot of room at this stage and only get bigger so this could be the cause in the slowing down of fetal kicks. You will be fine if you just try to relax and enjoy wants left of your days and nights without a new baby. If you aren't dialated that is also a good sign. They wanted to stop your labor b/c you want to be at least 37 weeks to run a slim chance at week lungs. You want them to be fully functional and healthy. People have babies earlier and they are fine but you want them to bake as long as they can. You don't want to see your baby on tubes and breathing machines! Good luck and any advice let me know... Thanks ( mommy of 3)

I had early labor too, with my first daughter. They must have put you on bed rest, correct? If you are on bedrest, the baby slows down a lot. If they put you on meds to help stop contractions, that can do it too. I had a ton of pressure for the rest of my pregnancy, made it to 36 weeks before my water broke.
If you are worried about movement, drink some fruit juice and lay on your left side for about a half hour. That should give the baby a boost and get them moving.
If you are really worried, call your doctor. It doesn't hurt to be caustious and that's what doctors are there for.
If you are bored and need to talk to someone, contact me.. I went through the same thing and might be able to help you with your worrying. Good luck!!

If you've just "gotten over" preterm labor and you're having questions or concerns about your pregnancy WHY are you asking a bunch of people who in all likelihood don't even KNOW how long a pregnancy should last?
ESPECIALLY if you have a decreased movement in your baby - CALL YOUR DOCTOR!
By the way - I've been an OB nurse for almost 30 years - and I'M telling you to call your doctor.

If you are feeling the baby move throughout the day then I would say that everything is normal. You will have pressure and pain when you are walking if the baby has dropped into the birth canal. If you are really concerned you should call your Dr.

Is this your first baby?
You can have "early labour" which is your body's way of strengthening your muscles for when the actual labour arrives.
Baby doesn't move so much during this. That's not so uncommon.
Just make sure to keep going to your prenatal visits and talking with your doctor.
And congratulations, you're going to be a mother.

your baby may be dis stressed. Movement should stay kinda active. go to the ER call your ob/gyn. the cord may be pressed or wrapped and cutting off the baby blood supply and killing it. If you wait to long it could be terrible 4 the baby with prompt care the baby can be delivered if in stress or caught in the cord.
