I would say the Pirates. I actually think the Devil Rays have a nice nucleus with some good talent. Gomes, Huff, and Baldelli are good offensive players. Kazmir and Fossum anchor a progressing pitching staff. It's tough playing in the AL East, but I think Tampa Bay is at least respectful. Pittsburgh has a nice stadium, so there is that!

Based upon their divisions, I'll say the Pirates suck more. Look at where the Rays play--they got to deal with the Yanks, Blue Jays, Sox, day in and day out. What's the Pirates excuse? At least the Pirates have a great stadium and history. Boy, I miss the days of Parker, Stargell, and Tekulve.

Pirates. The D-Rays have Crawford, Huff, and Cantu. The Pirates have Bay, Castillo, and Sanchez so thats about even. Plus the Pirates have one good pitcher (snell) while the D-Rays have the same, but he's much better (Kazmir). Their bullpens are both ruddy bad so Pirates are worse. I do think bay is good though

The pirates are the worst team in the inferior league. If the D-Rays were in the NL, they would contend for a division title!
