It is great to live under a code of honor but most people have lost its meaning and would need you to prove it in order to see and understand it. So I ask again how have you proven your honor to the world.

It was a very honorable thing you did, to show respect to your adversaries. If only more could learn from your actions, however questionable they may be.

Most importantly, I am a good father and husband. I am raising, along with my wife of 18 years, two children who, hopefully, will be good people.

How honorable can it be if you're doing it to prove something to someone?
A rich man proudly marched up to the front and gave many heavy coins as a gift offering. A poor widow quietly gave all she had in the world. Who has more honor?

...more down to earth...
I've tried to teach my children honesty and the lack of greed are valuable traits of honor.
I've walked back into stores to return excess change. More than once, one of them found money on a store floor. Their first response each time was to find to whom who it belonged. They turned in a twenty and a fifty on different occasions (to the surprise of the cashiers.) Only when the stores gave it back to them did they make plans to spend it.

I was in a position to take what I needed from two individuals one of them I wanted to engage badly when I saw that they had their children coming out with them I quickly thought against put them in a position in front of their home and children. I decide it is best to keep what is in the street in the streets.
that is honor

I would consider myself to be honorable. People who know me know that my intentions are good, and I don't ever try to do things to hurt people. But I don't believe that a person's worth can be proven. I believe that your worth is inherent.

I have lost all faith in humanity's ability to evolve and mature as a species but because of my own honor I refuse to put the species out of its misery

I tell the truth even if it hurts
I work even though I was told not to
I pray even though its not cool
I remain faithful even though wife cheated
and I would still lay down my life for any family member, maybe even a stranger
