Movie character costume ideas : suggestions?

Im going to a party in which I have to dress up as a character from a movie. I dont want it to be too involved . . .

Presuming your male, id suggest Superman, Batman, Sponge bob square pants lol, Hunch back, Zorro, whats his name from the Highlander movies, one of them two guys out of Wayne's world, Charlie Chaplin, either Lorrel and Hardy, Lassie the dog, The dad out of the Brady bunch, one of the Ghost busters, chuck Norris, Samuel L Jackson or John Travolta out of Pulp fiction or James bond. Well, I once was a professional costumer, and I think I can help. What you need to do is pick a glamourous character, like Julia Roberts, from Pretty Woman. Then you choose your very best dress-up dress, or you can get one from a quality thrift shop for very cheap. And for the final touch, you wear very glamourous, perfect make-up. Remember to choose the correct shoes and hat also.
