If the cage is big enough you can have as many of them you want together . But don't be suprised if you have babies !

Keep them SEPERATE!! They If you have a Syrian hamster, often called the "Teddy Bear Hamster", the answer is "no". Syrian hamsters are solitary, if you try to keep two together one will eventually kill the other. If, on the other hand, you have Campbells dwarf Russian, or Winter White Siberian hamsters the answer is "usually". If you buy a pair of young hamster siblings from the pet store then they will most likely be fine. If your dwarf hamster has been on it's own for a while then it is much less likely to accept new company. I do know of one case where a older male who had lived alone for almost a year was introduced to a young female and they now have babies of their own. Here is a link withquestions and answers on hamsters.

Usually, if they're dwarf hamsters, they should be OK but I was taking care of my friend's 2 dwarf hamsters(they live in the same cage) and last night 1 was killed. Probably by the other 1.

as long as u buy them at the same time from the same place it would be okay because they're used to each other. make sure u have a big cage and watch carefully in the future because sometimes they tend to get protective when they get older. be sure after getting them that in the near future u have enough money to get a second cage, just in case.

No you cannot, in the wild hamsters are solitary creatures who actually have quite a large territory for their size. They will end up hurting each other. just get one and handle properly and all the time and things will be fine.

Yes you can as a matter of fact because I also have the same thing going on and they live perfectly together!

More often than not they need to be in their own cages. Check out this website to explain better:

if they're not the same kind they'll fight. i tried that and one ripped the other's hair out. if they were raised together than i don't see y there would be a problem.
