why do pictures and writing overlap each other on web pages?

Your screen resolution may be set different than the web page was written for.

try right-clicking with your right mouse button on a blank area of the desktop, select properties, select the settings tab. Then try to increase or reduce your screen resolution.

click apply and ok to close it.

The web page should be more readable now.

When people create web pages on MAC's and they are viewed on PC's, this can happen. And vice-versa.
