It was funny for a while. Now I just think it is sad. I also think it is sad that this is what we view as entertainment in this country.

And Jerry Springer is the biggest sell out in the history of mankind. He used to have a show featuring hot topics and political talk. It was about to go off the air so he decided to get the biggest lowlifes/ uneducated saps in this country and expolit their problems to make a quick buck.

It exploits uneducated, low-self esteem people, and they probably do it for money or a chance to take a trip and stay in a nice hotel for coming on the show. I think some of it is scripted and I think these people are the type to really juice it up to get attention or a laugh. It's really beneath us all to watch it; however, I really like Jerry Springer in a different scenario.

It is fake--really--they tried to pay this guy I know to practice a script and act it out!! Whew--what an exciting show. That should be so illegal--and --instead made for alluring actors. It is like a sick, twisted soap opera that is so inhumane. Who needs that when the real news is so horrifying. Simply Disgraceful. He really let his self-respect go when he started that show and started filling up his pockets at the expense of his self respect. I could really care less anymore and I do not watch it --flip through it to other channels.

I want to know where he keeps finding those people. I figure that somewhere in this great country is a giant trailer park full of truly class-less white trash, black trash and minority trash people.

I hate that I have watched it on occasion - it's like a horrible train wreck that you have to keep looking at.
There must be a lot of people that feel that same way, it's still going strong after all these years.

i think most of the shows are staged. i know a family that can up with an outrageous story just to get the weekend away, without paying for most of the trip.
