Alexander overcame every obstacle he met! He of course took a lot of risks especially by bringing Greece to the depths of Asia! He wasn't lucky but a military genius, that's why he didn't loose a battle! Most important he had a united Greece behind him!
If he hadn't lived the world would have been a worst place! Why? Because he was responsible for the spreading of Greek culture and language! He single handed made the world a new Greek, actually Hellenistic (meaning Greek with Asian)world which boost Greek science and philosophy!
Hope I 've helped you!

Alexander the great conquered a good portion of the known world (to his nation, at the time) he also instituted sweeping programs to model the areas under his control after the Greeks. As the Greeks were the premiere academic and artistic culture of the time, this entailed establishing centers of learning and art all over the world. I would say offhand that Alexander the great was responsible for a leap forward in the education level of the world at that time, and as such, he vastly improved the world.

Yes, yes and yes. Do some quick research (wikipedia, etc.) for some background. He fought far too many battles to explain doubt the fact that he took risks AND got lucky on more than a few occasions.

One could argue either way on your second question. Although he conquered a huge swath of the known world in his time, he did a lot of good, not the least of which was to establish the city of Alexandria in Egypt as a cultural and intellectual center. Of course, he named a lot of other cities he captured Alexandria as well, but that was probably more out of vanity than anything else.

All of the above. Alexander had his father’s army and generals who were very loyal. He was a lucky, clever, brave, paranoid, bloodthirsty maniac. He led charges straight into battle and was almost killed several times. Most of the known world at that time wished he hadn’t existed, and I think his own men poisoned him in self defense in the end.

He was invading some-body's else lands. The people from Persia (Iran) say that he destroyed their country.
If he didn't live probably we would find another "hero", because we love history. About the World, we always have to try to build better future.
