It is a PDA. Do I need bluetooth, a modem?Help!

Yes you need a bluetooth, although you can use much slower Infrared connection.
Secondly download Softick PPP for trial. It is easy to setup.
Once it is done, your pda can surf the net thro the connection to your PC.

According to Palm, you're gonna' have to find a Bluetooth access point before you can do anything else. I can't say that I've heard of too many of those lately. Check the link below.

Your Palm will work only if it supports WI-FI connectivity, about the blueetooth, it works only for data transfer with another similar device like the one you own. If your palm supports WIFI, then start by trying at any local library, most of them offers now that feature to their customers.
