First off, that is a broad statement with no proof. Second off, like the one answerer put it, there are no ugly avatars available. And really why would that concern you. Were you tricked by a good looking avatar, you later found was not good looking? Okaaaay.
Anyways, avatars are a projection of poeples personalities with a bend towards what they look like, they are meant to be more symbolic even sometimes whimsical, perhaps portraying a interest you or a facet of your personality. Don't be so judgemental over it. Oh, and by the way, I'm sure you offended people just by assuming anyone to be ugly.

I have not made an avatar they dont come in fat and short I honestly looked I think they should and the backgrounds need to be more honest I looked for an institutional background with nurses and straight jackets but there was none.
As an ugly person Im not easily offended. However judging someone as ugly would be an ugly thing to do.

All of the avatars are pretty much similar to one another. If there was a plus sized avatar i would have chosen that one. I don't look like my avatar nor do i want to.

There is no way to add wrinkles, fat, handicap, etc. Nobody has choice in this case. I do not doubt that some beautiful people would do strange avatars if they were available.

well they probably just wish that they looked like that and nothings wrong with dreaming or they have good self esteem and even though they aren't pretty they make their avatar look how they feel they look.

Because there are no, fat,wrinkled, scared, mishapped ones bald or grey headed. I am not saying that all applies to me, I am blond and female.
