Reem is an arabic first name. it means Gazelle. it can also be spelled as Rim.
Rima however, or Reema is a white antelope.
Reem is most commonly female. but is unisex. That's why a gazelle is both male and female.

It is the mirror image of the word meer. As a fragment meaning of the sea--example:meerschaum, foam of the sea. with the pre-fix A, ameer or Emir, meaning leader.
((Reamers scrape the sides of holes. A tapered reamer will make a hole larger, or make the sides slanted. A straight reamer will make the hole exactly the specifed size. Regular drills often leave a lobular hole.))
