Have you read all of Dan Brown's works? If not, you may want to try: Angels and Demons, Deception Point, and Digital Fortress. You may also want to try books by Harlan Coben, Clive Cussler, Stephen Coonts, Dean Koontz and Tom Clancy to name a few.

Have just read a book called 'The Messiah Code'. Was published in 1997 (way before Dan Brown got on the scene) and is actually far superior. It's written by a bloke called Michael Cody who I'd never heard of before but will definitely keep an eye out for other books by him.
You might also want to look out for an author called Tim Powers. Have read 2 books of his: The Anubis Gate and Last Call, both well worth reading. Go on give him a try.

I don't know. I heard the book on tape (Da Vinci Code) as I drove back and forth to work. I got so into it that I missed the expressway exit to my home and ended up downtown Indianapolis. It was so totally engrossing. To find my way home I had to turn it off so I could concentrate.
