U should probably reset your iPod. just flip the hold switch on and off a few times and then hold the menu and select until and apple logo shows up then hook it up. That happened to me w/ my ipod and that is how I fixed it.

ok, when u connected it t ur new computer it asked u something that u clicked on 347486399% sure!!! and that made ur ipod to erase everything! just add songs to your library and u should be able to uplead songs when u conct!
note: just installing itunes wont let u get songs on it.
u must install the ipod software that cam with your ipod.

I think that every time you install iTunes, you have to re-start the computer before it allows you to put songs on whatever iPod you have plugged in.

Yeah, it's a problem in the DRM equation iTunes uses. If you didn't back up your music previously before you sold the old one, I think you're out of luck.
