It is for the same reason some people hate people. They have such a miserable and hateful attitude that nothing is important to them. Inflicting pain on a poor animal or even a human is a thrill to them. Why are people this way? Nobody actually knows, so the answer to your question is not actually known. but i know one thing i love animals and people and will try to help anyone or anything.

For some I believe it is a lack of experience with them so they have no empathy towards them. Perhaps their parents never let them have animals when they were children, or perhaps they had a negative experience with them. I feel badly for those people because they don't know what they are missing. A friendship with an animal is an amazing thing.

I don't hate animals i luv them,but i
think some people hate animals
because they are probably afraid
or allergic to them.

I don't hate animals I am just afraid of them and I don't like cleaning after them.......other than that I think they are adorable from a distance!

I don't think it's hate so much as it is ignorance. People think animals don't feel pain and don't have emotions so they think they can do whatever they want to them and it's ok.

everybody had their own opinion and things that they like and dont like..thats the same as asking someone why they dont like dogs just because you do. not everybody has your same opinion
