Flirt, act like you are generally interested and not stringing him along or playing games with him. Just try to strike up an intelligent conversation, and ask him some questions, about something he likes or about himself. It doesn't hurt to use your body too, not trashy, just flirtaciously.

be friendly, be nice, be yourself. talk to him and show him that you're interested in him by asking him questions about himself. in the end, it might not work because you can't control someone's emotions but it's worth a try.
