In my senior year in HS this girl wrote in my yearbook that I always could make her laugh even when she was down...I know it's corny, but it meant a lot to me

I was a preschool teacher, and at the same time I was studying at the university, so when I decided that I needed to focus on my studies, I had to quit being a teacher. The day I left the school, all my kids (3 and 4 year old children) made a huge poster for me, with drawings and doodles all over it, and they sang a song to me. When I was leaving, they ran to me and hugged me all at the same time, saying the nicest thing that anyone has ever told me was: "Teacher, we love you!".

I was taking blood pressures at a festival when a woman came up and hugged me. She asked me if I recognized her and I told her that I met a hundred people a day. She said that I had saved her life one day when she was having an asthma attack. Made my day.
