If I were to pick which Major to pursue I'd say Medical Fields, it is a much broader field and has more choices/job offerings. It really depends on what you want to study (Dental, Medical, Psychology, Veterinary, Research, etc.).
One thing to point out---you just can't earn a lot of money easily! You have to study hard in the medical field to get a decent job/salary, you just can't get something for nothing, gotta work for it.
I am applying for college in the fall and am thinking of going into Genetic Engineering/Molecular Biology. This field has a lot of possiblities as of job offering and choices.
But if you think you can handle it you could apply for Double Majoring in both.
Have to say you are pretty daring to leave Canada and come here for college education!

First of all, I hope you don't spell like that in the real world.
Having said that, I'll try to answer your question.
We have a universal healthcare system, which I think is great. However, it's not the most efficient.
Doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals are having to work long hours, which can become quite stressful on themselves and their families.
If you possess a strong passion for caring and helping people, then I say go into medicine. Whether as a doctor, nurse, or even a pharmacist! Pharmacists get paid very well too!
Also, keep in mind that the baby-boomers (post-WW2 babies) are getting old, and the need for more health care professionals will be URGENTLY required in the future.
If you want to end up living your life at a boring desk job, then go into computer engineering.

Please tell me that the rambling paragraph I just read is not an example of the typical spelling and grammar skills resulting from a person educated in Canada. What do you mean when you say you "graduated from my country"? You say you already wasted one year in school and can't waste two more years in order to graduate. Based solely on the information you provide I would suggest that you finish high school or at least the Canadian equivalent of what we call a GED here in the USA. Instead of going to college why not consider going to a trade or career training school? There are schools that provide training and education in the fields you have expressed interest in gaining employment.
Both the medical and computer fields present opportunities to earn a good income and derive personal satisfaction. If you are looking to "earn" a lot of money easily....you're not alone. I'm glad to hear you want to do something with your life. That is an excellent first step in achieving your goals. Good luck.

if you went into nursing (yes a male nurse) you could get your bachelors degree and then go on to medical school. the average nurse in ontario makes better than thirty dollars an hour. I know engineering makes good money too but i dont know how much, but I know that the nursing profession is high in demand and that recruiters come to grad even from other countries to hire nurses. Try Georgian College it is about a 45 min drive north of where you are.

USA needs more engineers but you will always have a job in the medical field. A word to the wise? Clean up your grammar and spelling before preparing any professional documents, especially since you have a college education.
