No. Professional soccer players should be more mature than to be easily insulted by another player. If one player can "cheat" by taking a dive then another player can cheat by taunting another a little bit. Let them play!

Besides, Zidane is a wimp. He wanted to come out of the game over a little sholder pain. What a wimp!

Zidane is a dirty terrorist, what are you talking about? Just kidding, I think Zidane overreacted a little but if you look at his past it's in his nature to get aggressive during these types of situations. Too bad this time it cost his team the World Cup tittle.

I think first of all the Italian player shouldn't have called Zidane a dirty terrorist and now I don't think they would do anything about it now since Italy won and its over

You guys just kill me, Maybe its just me, but why would someone be bothered if he was called a dirty terrorist (assuming he was indeed called that which is a big if - no proof)?

Honestly, of all the things that you could say to me - that would certainly not get me particularly fired up...Why would you even care...It would make your head spin if you heard some of the things I was called when I played HS and College football (American).

I really can't see being called a dirty terrorist all that bad ....Maybe he should of just told him to F*ck off you (Insert your own italian slur here) Bast*rd, or maybe even the popular "I know you are but what am I" retort, instead of headbutting...

FIFA takes actions for a variety of offenses. Trash-talking is unfortunately common, at what point do you act. Unless you ban trash talking nothing will work. I don't believe Materazzi said that, I believe the slight was more personal.

He did not call him a dirty terrorist, that is a stupid rumour that started and is apparently being spread on the internet.

The BBC got an Italian lip-reader to analyse the tape and this is what was said by Materazzi:

"No"
[Pinches Zidane's chest]
"Calm Down"
"I wish an ugly death for you and your family"
"Go f**k yourself"
