i'm 13 and weigh 155 pounds and i'm 5ft5in tall, am i over weight?

It is not possible to be overweight, whatever weight you are is your weight if you gain more you are not now over weight your weight just changes. The people who thought up the term overweight obviously weren't very smart.
Either way if you are happy your size won't matter your happiness and confidence will out shine your size.

Look in the mirror, do you like what you see? What would you like to change? Remember you haven't finished growing yet.

If you are worried about losing weight I would suggest introducing more exercise into your routine rather than changing your diet. Just make sure you are getting good fruits and vegetables and be active.

Every body is different. Learn to love your body and save yourself a lifetime of grief. Some girls turn into women who obsess over their body for their whole lives. That is a big waste of time. Don't search for approval from anyone else but yourself!

Yes, you are over weight. You are tall but even then 155 is a little too much . You're not obesse though, so don't worry just excersice it off by maybe jogging, joing a dance class or track or cheerleading. I doubt you're what people consider fat.

Technically, at 5foot 5 you should weigh 125 pounds. The medical way of figuring it out is at 5 feet you should way 100 pounds. And then you should gain 5 pounds every inch after that. Personly, I don't think it matters as long as you think you look good you do.

By like 10 lbs, I weight that much too but I'm shorter than you. My doctor said all I needed to shed was 10 lbs.

I believe you should weigh between 125lb and 150lb, so maybe just losing 5lb and you will be in the healthy weight range. Ideally you'd want to be 145lb or under.

The proper weight for your height is @120-130

Your BMI is *just* into the overweight range, however given your age, BMI isn't exactly the best measurement. If you stay active and eat well, you'll probably be just fine.

Yes, I am the same size, and when I was your age, I was about 120 lbs. or less.
