Depending on the college you're attending on attending, the Pre-med major is where all students wanting to medicine, pharmacy, dental, or optometry - basically any advanced medical / allied health degree (Masters or Doctoral level) do their major. You can enter into any of the health professions fields from it. It will most likely have you take the basic biology, chemistry, organic chem, biochemistry, physiology, physics, and math classes needed for these programs and their respective entrance tests (including the PCAT).

Premed is not a major - so I'm assuming you majored in something related to the sciences which is what most people who are intending to go on to medical school decide to major in (although you don't have to) - a friend of mine majored in chemistry and is now a pharmacist - if you have the sciences under your belt then you shouldn't have to take too many, if any more courses. You do have to take the pharm school entrance exam, just like you would for medical or dental school and I think that is a stronger determinant for getting into a pharm program than what your college major was.

Yeah. You would probably just have to take a few pharmacology/pharmacy specific classes on top of the courses already required for pre-med.
