Lets make a vote to show we care about global warming. Lets switch off as much unneccesary electrical equipment as we can on Saturday at 18.00 gmt. It will make world headlines if we all do it.
Keep posting SHOW YOU CARE ABOUT THE WORLD as a question so that we can reach as many people as possible.
Okay so the idea is grandiose and far fetched but what have we got to lose. Most of us like this forum because we are interested in the people and world around us.
Is it not us who can make a difference, or are we just going to rely on our governments to take the lead. History tells us that money will lead our goverments not us.

If I could put my arms around the world I would hug it .It is an unfortunate situation that in general people are so ready to point fingers and be so judgemental and intolerant of each other . If only we could live and let live. We have to respect the planet and all life . From the smallest weed to the largest mammel. Help save the planet.

DAMN i hate ignorant people. Not the people who just dont know. but the people who know better and see a moments weakness and pounce. The only reason I probably wont is cos i will forget. Oh i dont actually have a house either but i WILL tell my friends about it. I wish you would do the same. I dont care about the ice age or global warming being broadcast as terrifing forcasts. What matter is that we are doing a good job of cocking the world up just now. So maybe aircraft do cause more pollution than cars. BUT IM FARKING SICK OF CARS. I walk down the street and cars cars bloody cars everywhere. All that metal for one person. I will try. I hope i remember. I hope for peace. I say make love not war (literally please). I dont like to fight. I hope you ignorant bastards die.

There is no such thing as global warming.
Back in the 1970's everyone was yelling ICE AGE. A new ice age is coming because of our polluting the enviornment and we are all going to freeze to death.
WHERE THE HECK IS THAT ICE AGE???
Now the morons are yelling Global Warming!!!!
In another twenty years they'll be yelling ice age again.

Did you know that if you got enough switched off at exactly 1800 the rest would go with it? Big system instability would result from the sudden drop in demand and everybody's relays would flip off. Blackout.

Why does everybody moan about car usage when the worst polution is from flights !! also i doubt you can alter the damage that was caused during the industrial revolution. try looking at countrys such as brazil and mexico and ask what are they doing to help as it all seems a little one sided to me.

what word are we supposed to care about?
I think many are doing there part, but if u ram in down peoples throats people grow tired and resent it. ( a bit like religion)
