I'm going to Vegas soon and I would like to know which hotels have the best "non-hotel" looking rooms.

Try the Wynn.
I hear they have flat panels and nice rooms. Not sure if Trump has his hotel up yet in Vegas, it was under constr. last time I was there.

All of the big top of the line hotels on the strip, like Ceasers, Bellagios, The Venetian, Wynns, Mandalay Bay and a few more will have "high roller" suites that cost BIG bucks but are like full sized apartments. They have things like multiple rooms and some have multiple floors with sunken marble baths, jacuzzis, flat panel TV's, pianos, pool tables, full bars, sunken living room areas, and a host of other things that are unique. These suites may go for .... if you have to ask, you can't afford it .... Us ordinary people rarely get to even see these rooms, let alone stay in them.

If you want one of these rooms you have to ask for them because they aarfe not for regular consumption, unless you are a high roller. A couple years ago I did get to stay in one kinda like that at the RIO when I got there late at night and they didn't have anything else available. It had 2 rooms seperataed by a door and a bath area with a jacuzzi by the window overlooking the Strip.

That would depend largely on what your definition of the "non-hotel" look means to you(As Owner of a Travel Agency, I encounter this particular dilemna on occasion). Also understand that a lot of hotels on and off the Strip are "themed", meaning they don't have that sanitary, "hotel" look.

Having said that, I would say it would depend on what particular "theme" or "non-hotel" look that you're looking for in particular. If you could kindly either call, email me at: indysteve1563@yahoo.com, or reach me through Yahoo Messenger with your criteria, we can sift through the many fine hotels on and off the Strip that fit your definition of the "non-hotel" look.

Bellagio - Big Bathrooms with the tub facing the lake.
Four Seasons... - Milk and cookies as they turn down your bed at night...
Hard Rock. Not on the strip... But if you can, get the older rooms. not the remodeled rooms. Bigger.

The Fantasy Suites at the Palms are only $4k to $45K a night!

In Vegas, this is a matter of personal taste and the size of your travel budget.

If you are a Vegas "whale", then The Mansion at MGM Grand. If you are a high roller, then the Skylotfs at MGM Grand.

My son and his wife stayed at Paris on their honeymoon a few years back. They said it was awesome. I've stayed at New York, New York a couple of times, and they are just regular hotel rooms...nothing special.
