Hello Gaby, there are many theories to this but here is the one I use. A mini skirt is anything at least 3" above the knee.
A short one or micro mini as they are called is one where if you are standing up with your hands at your sides, your fingers are all below the bottom of the skirt. I hope this helps you!

A mini skirt is anything that ends above the fingertips when your arms are flat to your sides. It's definitely too short if a girls behind is hanging out at ANY point!

A skirt at least 2 inches above the knee is a mini skirt. If you put your arms flat against your side and the skirt doesnt reach your fingertips, your skirt is way too mini.

well i like put my arms down and if my skirt is shorter then is too short or if i walk down the street and two cars have an accident that is a good way to tell too LOL

If your butt and panties are showing then ummmm you need to make your skirt a tad bit longer I do believe! If u feel a draft everytime you stand up- it might be too short.

Measure it with your arms and if it the skirt is less than the arm length it IS short.

Pinky length, if shorter than that it's a mini skirt.

well im tall (5'7") and i have lonnnng arms....so that measure wit the length of ur arms stuff dont cut it for me cuz the miniskirt would have ta stop at my knees! noooo! a miniskirt to me is anything above the knees but nun a video girl would wear! sooo i hope that helps! cuz i luuuv miniskirts sooo i had ta help ya out!

If your a$$ cheeks are hanging out of it and you can see a bad wax job then that is when I'd say it's too short...
