Here's what law enforcement officials do when it's their word against someone else's for proof. Write down every incident that he has made you angry down, including what he said and to whom, and the EXACT time he said it. It also helps to have that person to whom he said it to verify what he said. Everybody else's answers are also good, so this is just another option for you.

I've had teachers like that before in grade and high school so you're not alone. I've even had a few closet racist ones too (I'm chinese) and those are the ones that really pissed me off. If I had something like Answers to help me on what to do, I would've gotten them fired a long time ago. Good luck.

Well I like the idea of using a tape recorder to get the job done.
It is so hard to know that your parents do not take this seriously. Shame on them. Plus the principal?? Well I would contact the superintendent's office and set up a meeting with them. If they do not take you seriously or passively refuse to help you. Then you need to contact your state department--do a web search for your state's educational homepage and choose a link that you want and then email a person in the department. If you have trouble deciding which person to email--then just try one and tell them to please email you back with the appropriate contact's address.
Also--in the meantime--you should do what things in class help you. If you look at the board and he gets mad then speak up for yourself!! Say--well, Mr. ... THat is how I learn--I am a visual learner and I need to see the notes and such and that that is your right as a student. Then see what he says. If he sends you to the office or punishes you, then tell then just what you said to him.--That will help them see that he is denying you the right of getting your individual educational plan. Remember--tears are a good thing sometimes. :)
Also--just another thought--you could always write or have someone write a really mature and anonymous letter to him--pretending to be a parent and all of the frustrations of what you have been hearing about and the emotional and educational damage that his child is experiencing from this abuse. Tell him that you wanted to directly write to him to see if this would solve the problem and let him know that if he does not stop belittling students and disrespting their rights, that you have a lawyer who is ready to take the case, as no one in the school district seems to be assisting in this proscess. Tell him that you mean well, but this has to stop or the court will make him and that will be on his record, no matter how much insurance he has. Then sign it anonymous. Try that!!!

Focus on learning more! In anyway as a student you need to focus on what he is teaching instead of how he is acting. If he has such an attitude he will be notified by students or teachers or the principle some day soon!

But from your side-
Learn well, do good and respect the teacher. Any teacher will possibly become a nice teacher!

Your job is just keep learning! Education comes to your ears in many ways like music or thunder! Take it!
You will be appreciated once you are good in all!

Earn good grade and then you may make your judgement about teachers for your satisfaction!

Good luck!

First off there is a way to get him but it will be kind of tricky. If you have a hand held tape recorders or any type of digital recorder that can record the whole time that you are in his class. I recommend recording the class and playing it back for your parents to hear.
I haven't came up with any thing else.
If you don't have a recorder see if you can borrow one for you friends or tell you parents that you need it because it will help you get a better grade in class. They do because if you miss something then you can always play it back.

Well, it certainly isn't right, and the first thing you do is to tell your parents. If you get no support from them, then I would try staying after class to talk with the teacher, to explain how you feel. Most times just talking, or communicating with someone about the problem will help to resolve it. I can't believe no one will listen to you.

Generally teachers punish and be strict for students good.

But in your case the situation is different. As already your parents know this.

i suggest go for new school and build your career. Take care of your anger.

He wouldn't be you English teacher would he? If he is, it's apparent you haven't been paying attention in class from your "writings." I'm 55, so if you are accusing him because of his age, I find that terribly insulting. I think that you aren't telling the entire truth of the matter.
