If you're trying to be funny, you've failed. Isn't there enough hurt in the world without you adding to it???

Nope. When you want to hurt someone or something, just go in a room by yourself a while. Pray to God or read the Bible. Play cards or put a puzzle together. Watch a movie that you like. Or read a interesting book. After a while, what ever you were mad about will be put in a new perspective. And you might relax enough to think of a way to work out the situation without violence.

How about no? Try going for a run,
lifting weights,
using a punching bag,
talking to a best friend,
talking to family,
taking deep breaths,
meditating,
practice yoga,
praying,
reading a book,
writing, drawing,
painting,
woodwork,
pottery,
going to a movie,
resolving the problem,
journaling about the problem,
think about your past (especially successes),
what else could be making you angry besides the "main problem,"
take an anger management class,
go to counseling,
call help line,
see a doctor,
listen to music,
go for a drive,
ask your best friend for advice...

Should an angry person physically hurt you? Why or why not?

If you really wanted to hurt someone today, you wouldn't be sitting your flat a** at your computer screen crying like some panty waisted namby pamby kid with a dirty diaper. You would already be in jail. Now that's where they'll show what pain infliction is all about.

if you're that pissed off, you should hit a punching bag. or hit the road in some sneakers.
only recently have i realized that it's sooo true about exercise being one of the best ways to let off that negative energy. if you don't let it out, you internalize it and will make yourself either miserable or sick, or both. if you unleash it on someone else, you will make them miserable or injured, or both. if you run or swim or hit a punching bag or whatever sport you feel like doing, you will not only release the anger, energy, and stress... but will come out of it feeling BETTER.
and best of all, nobody will send a pack of bigger, stronger (and now), angrier guys after you, to make you sorry you ever did.
if it's really really bad, don't think about it even one more second or read more replies. just get off your ***, grab some sneakers, get *outside*, and at least jog around the block. i guarantee you will feel at least some relief.

If you feel like physically hurting someone, think about how would you feel if you were the one being beaten up, and if you are ok with that, then you, my friend, definitely need to get some therapy.

If you feel too angry, do some exercises, start counting 1 to 1.000 and try to control yourself. Yo can also read a good book and listen to calm music. Go to a gym, practice yoga, do meditation. Learn to control your emotions, do positive and creative things.

No. You only find yourself in unnecessary trouble. Learn a healthy way to release all the pent up anger. Try a punching bag or go in your car drive as far as you can and scream, shout and cuss. Hope your day gets better.
