I waited a year for him and he asked me to marry him before i said yes and then i made a really big mistake but i knew from the day i met him that he was the love of my life. I need to know how do i make him see that he is all i want and will ever want. And no i did not cheat on him.

Usually I leave this type of question to those that like to answer couples type questions, but your question caught my eye...so here is my best shot at it.
He asked you to marry him once, so he has those type of feelings for you, I believe that is half the battle. It would almost be impossible to get him to marry you without having those type of feelings for you.
Because he can see himself being with you forever, and spending the rest of his life with you, and growing old together...and possibly raising a family with you.
That is great!
Now, something happened...I don't know what it was, but whatever it was...he is still your boyfriend.
You could steer him into the direction of marriage...for some guys, only dating for 9 months could scare the average guy away, but the ace in the hole card is that he asked you once...and he can ask you again.
Recall everything about the time that he asked you to marry him...what season was it? Were you on a romantic date, like a dinner at a fancy resturaunt watching the sunset?
Whatever it was, the season, time of day, place, music playing...try to repeat that occurance.
and the memory of him asking you to marry him will become fresh in his mind again. If it does not work...then wait awhile and repeat.
You can make it easier for him be being more romantic. Hold his hand, snuggle up to him, make him feel like a million dollars.
He will realize like he once did, that he cannot live without you.

OK, first you want to make sure if this is the man that you really want to be with. The first time you weren't so sure, now he is the one that isn't to sure! Love him for now and show him that you guys are made for one another! Then he'll ask again! Don't rush him, whatever you did he needs to reassure himself!

OK make a nice dinner than at the perfect time say you still love him make a perfect dinner like steak corn and spaghetti and it may happen

Write him a letter. State it somewhere towards the end of a long letter. And give him head while he begins to read this letter. It will be hard from to say no.
