Sometimes they are smart in certain areas. I feel I am strong in spelling and writing....but give me a math equation, and I am doomed. Ones that lack common sense just need to find out the hard way.

Easy. Smart people just don't like to answer stupid questions because the question is too simple for their intelligent minds. They would rather sit back and see who amongst the stupid can answer a simple question. The dunce stands alone.

Stupid could be a momentary state, and it is relative.
The same with smart. It is relative.
Some are smart in school but not on the streets.
So you wanna be successful in life, get good grades and be streetwise at the same time!

Books. Everything they know and do is from books. The REALLY smart people are out living life and getting smart from it...the others just sit back and read about it.

Stupid is a way of speaking. I'm stupid, but I still get good grades.
I don't know, it must be one of life's great mysteries.
