Zaidan did that because the Italyian players have been proving him the whole time this whole match..esopeciolly mazzerilla who grabbed his shirt (which in the soccer world is something ver bad and pinched) but besides the physical he also called hima terrorist which is very wronG!
and made fun of his mother who went in the hosspital a few hors be4 the game and his sister!

It has been reported that he was called a "terrorist", so some people are saying that is "racist"...
....but I don't see how any words could justify that action. He was very foolish in my opinion. And I dislike blaming the victim for such an act.. people, like him, must take responsibility for their actions.

Was he justified in getting upset about what was said? sure but if he really wanted to retaliate wait until after the game then go after him. He let his whole team and country down by flying off the handle and now will be remembered for that for the rest of his life, ouch.

Frustration! Plain and simple. Neither his team nor himself were about to figure out Italy's game plan. I really don't the the Italian player said anything out of the ordinary. Players try to trash talk each other all of the time. Can't imagine it was anymore than that.

Hey man .. i enjoyed it.. i dont really like soccer .. but i liked that .. soccer needs more of that, definetly .. if people do that more often, soccer games TV ratings will go up. so its good for soccer too. ..
and hell , i'd probably be worse if some one pinched my nipple .. if thats what happened .. but if he was just called a name , he really needs to conrol himself. for self respect .. but i say keep doin it : ) .. for the sport
