An aggressive salesperson knows how to handle objections with confidence. A pushy salesperson doesn't really listen to what the objections are. They just hear "no" and keep rattling off features and benefits that their potential customer doesn't even care about. An aggressive salesperson understands "no" is part of the job, so they do more appointments, make more contacts, work harder to make up for the "no's" that they are going to get. A pushy salesperson doesn't think a "no" is part of the job and tries to get around it at all costs.

An aggressive salesman will put themselves out there and ask if you need any help or perhaps show you something they may think you like, but won't push and will drop the matter if it seems the customer wants to be left alone. A pushy salesman just keeps pushing and is very in your face and not as polite as an agressive salesman. A pushy sales person doesn't know when to stop. Or give theclient some breathing room. Think like in a relationship when one persons mothers the other, that's pushy

Perspective, a salesperson would say they were being aggressive, a consumer would say they are being pushy.

It's a fine line between the two. The pushy salesman knows when to stop, and will stop, but the aggresive salesman will keep going beyond that point.
