It is called jealousy. While they were out partying or wasting their time your hard work paid off.....you make them realize how childish and foolish they were while you were doing the mature, adult thing. Ignore your friends....and think of what they'll be saying in a few years when you have a great well paying job and they're saying...."Would you like hot or mild sauce with that?".

there are two kinds of "making fun." There is the friendly kind where its just joking around, then there is the kind when it is to be mean. My friends and i joke around all the time and no one takes it seriously, and maybe that is whats going on. If they are doing it to be mean then screw them. You are the one who will make something of yourself. Do not stop studying and keep your grades up. When your making bank and they come crawling to you, you can call them a loser.

Let'em skwawk all they want. The long and short of it is that you'll more than likely be the boss and they will be wishing that they treated you better. They will be the ones with the mediocre degrees saying things like "do you want fries with that?" and "is my nametag straight?"

Jealousy. They want to have good grades and be smart like you, but lack the motivation necessary to make it happen.
