Find the pattern in the tantrums, and try to avoid it or put his attention elsewhere. Otherwise, pop him on the hand or the diaper to get his attention, and to say mamma is in charge, not baby.

Nip it now, or you're gonna need super nanny.

I lay him on the floor away from anything that can hurt him and in a quiet room so that he can cool down for a minute. (My baby is 10 months old.) If he continues the temper I pick him up and rock him and nuzzle him. Just try to be patient.

Put up with it. My kid is 3 and he has only now began to be able to control his own temper. he /she will grow out of it if pointed in the right direction. If you let it get at you, they will feed off you and bounce back twce as bad!
