I don't know what to celebrate, but a day in August would be nice. August is the only month in the calendar without a holiday.

THIS HAS ABSOLUTLY NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR QUESTION, but I happen to come across a question u answered a while ago about, Persians (Iran) having the best culture, Ur answer to the question IS very inspiring, i know that sounds totally cheesy or whatever, but you are so right about Iran's women not modernizing..Im a persian 16 year old , I live In U.S. and I really feel the same way, How can a government force women to wear something on thier head to cover thier hair, oh and thier reason makes me absolutly insane, they say it's because *womens hair excites men* Is that not the STUPIDIST thing youv'e ever heard, So with that very dumb reason, the iranian government makes all women of Iran where something to cover thier hair. with really no true evidence for the *womens hair excites men* theory. Im also surprised that the rest of the world does not do anything to stop this madness! Iran could have been a beautiful civilized country right now, but instead we are one of the most feared of countries, we are known for our terrorists and stupid president and oil and atomic bombs, not for our wonderful mountains, foods, people, or even contibutions to the world! things like this just make me disapointed of my country and thw world for not doing something about it..

I have a friend who has an Alice Cooper tribute band, so I think there should be a national holiday celebrating him, lol.
