Arnie is a good governor. He would be more effective if we didnt have all the damn hippies and illegal loving legislatures messing everything up.

Read this, and decide by yourself:

"In June 2003, Reliant Corporation of Houston simply turned off several power plants, and when California cities faced going dark, the company sold them a pittance of kilowatts for more than gold, making several million in minutes.

Power-market shenanigans were nothing new in 2000. What was new was the response of Governor Gray Davis. A normally quiet, if not dull, man, this Governor had the temerity to call the energy sellers "pirates" in public! -- and, even more radically, he asked them to give back all the ill-gotten loot, the entire $9 billion. The state filed a regulatory complaint with the federal government.

The Peninsula Hotel get-together was all about how to "settle" the legal actions in such a way that Enron and friends could get the state to accept dog food instead of dollars. Davis seemed unlikely to see things Ken's way. Life would be so much better if California had a governor like the muscle guy in the Speedos.

And so it came to pass that, in 2003, quiet Gray Davis, who had the cojones to stand up to the electricity barons, was thrown out of office by the voters and replaced by the tinker-toy tough guy. The Governator performed as desired. Soon after Schwarzenegger took over from Davis, he signed off on a series of deals with Reliant, Williams Company, Dynegy, Entergy and the other power pirates for ten to twenty cents on the dollar, less than you'd tip the waitress. Enron paid just about nothing." --Greg Palast [ARMED MADHOUSE]

Arnold is a good governor with some pretty good ideas. However, it is probably hard getting anything done with all the Democrats and Extreme Leftists getting in the way and causing problems all of the time.

Yes. I think he would be even better or at least get more done if he did not have to work with such a left leaning group of legislators. Arnold does not accept pay for the job either.

Yes he is good.

First he recognizes that economics is important for our state. He did his best to control the spending and tried to take on the reckless spending.

He put some good initiatives to fix the spending problems, but the wacko left people in this state were too stupid to vote for them.

Once he lost, he was smart enough to do what the people wanted!

He is better than the person he replaced in Gray Davis and he is better than the Phil Angeletes!

I am proud to have his signature on my college diploma!

Most of all, he is a republican in a EXTREMELY liberal state! He is also leading in polls for reelection.

arnold was my idol up until he became governor and showed me he wasent the kind of person i was led to belive, his personal achievments still amaizing and trully admirable but as a governor i think he is lacking , and we are at fault for electing a person who dosent have any political background, the is the problem when it comes to big decisions he is not the one who really makes the solutions but his group of advisors especially former governor pete wilson, arnold is influenced too much and his affice is tainted,.. i am trully disapointed.

Good is a relative term. Is he good compared to Gray Davis? Yes. Is he the best governor ever seen? No.

Hi is a great Governator! Go Arny!
He has his own money, has connections to republicans and democrats, and a lot of enthusiasm. Too bad most people in our state don't get it...
