Nothing. NATO no longer exists to defend against a Russian attack, just mutual protection against ANY outside attack for combat in the European theater. Since all of Europe is basically in the treaty, & no force on earth is powerful enough to forcablly invade Europe in opposition to NATO, it basically means nothing. It's just a big club to share military training & build relationships so we can fight together elsewhere if our govts agree to do so.

Russia having a fleet in the black sea (and it's not much of one by the way) is meaningless in terms of NATO. It helps Russia try to project a sphere of influence in the region, but not much as those we're opposing now aren't strong countries that can be dominated by naval power. Russia is still recovering from the cold war & needs to modernize its thinking om military-diplomatic forces in regional influence. The rest of the world gets it already & certainly doesn't hold it against Ukraine.

I Love the fact that you actually wrote a well thought out comprehensive question and only one person answers you. I am truly amazed at the banter of Americans all the while they have no clue of any of the goings on in the world.
1. There is a good chance for Ukraine to join NATO, though I feel it would be years before full military disclosure.

2. I will ask a question of you is "are the republics of Yugoslavia better off now then if they remained together". My answer would be some are some are not. Do you believe Russia and Crimea would benifit from being united? I do. Does that mean they will...no.

Bravo to you!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a GREAT DAY

Doesn't bother me at all. I avoid wearing it because I know how much it bugs people though. I think navy blue and red is a much bigger eyesore.
