Yes ⥠I'm a very open-minded person.

We communicate affirmatives with nods and phrases like "uh huh", "mm hmm", and "sure". (let's consider "yeah" the same as "yes" for now.) Psychologically, negatives are treated more importantly, so it's we try not to confuse who we're speaking to. So, we tend to articulate negatives simply, making "no" more common.
