They did turn up useful information about the effects of hypothermia and how to treat it. The methods used to obtain this information, however, were barbaric and inflicted on unwilling subjects. It was a topic of some discussion among the Allies whether to make use of medical knowledge derived by such means.

nothing good came from the Nazis, that they found advances in medicine with their "research" is just a myth that seeks to justify their barbarism.
