There is no universally agreed symbol but the following are used:
cubic feet, cubic foot, cubic ft
cu ft, cu feet, cu foot, c.f.
ft³, feet³, foot³
feet^3, foot^3, ft^3
feet/-3, foot/-3, ft/-3
I most often use cu. ft. (especially on math problems), but in the industry I've seen c.f. used a lot.

I use and was taught to use bil. But I have seen B used as well. I have never seen bi. or bn. These two are wrong! Following is a list of abbreviation that use B for billion but they are phrases that simply use the first letter for each word in the abbreviation. i have always seen it written as cu. ft. or you can have it as ft. with a three written next to it as an exponent... hope I helped
