"I'm so Tired of Being Alone" by Al Green
When I was in a major depression all I did was listen to Al Green's Greatest Hits CD. I felt HIS pain and I did not feel alone any longer cause it was as if AL GREEN had been where I was.
Even being HAPPY and in the RIGHT frame of mind now, I often listen to AL GREEN just to get a sense of what being REAL is in its RAWEST form!
He is the BOMB!
Also "Drive All NIght" by Bruce Springstein! The man is almost crying out in this song! You can really feel the love and pain in his voice! It made me cry the first time I heard it.
Also Allisyn Moyet (Singer from Yazz, 80's) song is "Midnight". Wow I cried when I heard this as well. Saw her in concert and met her in person as well. I was smitten with her voice from day one!
