I have to take a Geometry course, but since I couldn't make it to my summer school courses (family problems, car problems, a whole slew of crap), I was unable to make up the one course I needed to graduate.

I think you can take just that one course, but that would be very time consuming, Albeit, its just one class, but it's most likely is 3-4 month ordeal. I had a similar situation, where I was a credit or two short of graduation and the requirement was waived. Perhaps you can "clep" out of the class by taking an exam that would show adequate competency in the subject.

I was in a similar position my last year of high school. What I did was filled my schedule with things that sounded interesting that I had not taken the time to take earlier because of fulfilling requirements. I took astronomy, swimming, typing, and chorus in addition to the English and Government I still needed to graduate. You never know, you might find you have an interest in something you never knew about! Good luck.

High school is free education. If you can, take AP classes or Certification classes in a field you are interested in. Get as much education as you can while it is free. don't be in a hury to join the work force.

There are high school classes you can take online and get credit for, but they are pretty expensive I think.
