No it doesn't mean the first love wasn't real. It just means that relationship wasn't meant to be. Love isn't limited.

No, it doesn't mean that it wasn't real. It's possible to love many people through your life, and all different types of love, like the love you have for your friends and family, and then for your bf or gf. But sometimes you may have a love for someone that is greater than the love you have had for anyone else, I think that sometimes can make other loves feel like they weren't "real", but they were real, just different, and that's okay!

Yes one can love more than one person,
love manifest as sensations, feelings that arouse
new emotions of consciousness and sensations of
sexual desires, the sexual sensation is compared to
the mystical experience,
an esctasy of absorbing the feelings of
what one defines as love, there are different ways
to love, there is love as passion & love as care, love
as trust, to love your children or to love your parents.
Because, ( i think ) the beauty in the female form
transgresses this enigma we call to love many points
of way toward the female, or male form. We have within
our culture the idea that man/woman can only have one love,
this is the doctrine from religious beliefs, but these laws
actually surpress the inner desires of the human condition.
The church needed these rules so as to limit the birth
rate of edgy humans in need of the sexual drive and the
consequences of offsprings poping out .......
So where is the fine line between love & sex .....
What determines if one can love more than one person.
What makes us different from animals is language,
language generates what the culture is suppose to do &
act within the group or society, if the rule of language says,
only one partner, only one lover, otherwise you are in
danger of sin or diviant behavior then language has surpressed
the human condition into a tribe of law, rules & organized
behavior. But i feel as a rule of nature, yes we can love
more than one person ..... i think it is a normal way for
the human spirit to exist, its our language that keeps one
from the actual experience of being human .....

I am sure you can. Sometimes it just doesn't work out and grows sour. That doesn't mean you didn't love them to begin with. You love both your mother and father so why not more than one boyfriend.

i love a lot of people in very different ways and in varying degrees. and just because a love doesnt work out how we wanted doesnt make it any less important or real.

I think it was real. Just.....I don't know. There's lots of types of loves. Mostly, we're in lust thinking it's love, but whatever you felt at the moment is what you felt.
