Mine was last December my graddad had a stroke, we had him taken to the ER and they did some test and it seemed all was well. He was in his room and was awake answering questions. He never really told us grand kids that he loved us but we know he did. I left his room that same night and didnt tell him i loved him because i thought id see him the next day. I remember him just laying in the bed staring out the window. So i woke up the next day got a shower and went back up to the hospital and he was in a coma. I stayed in the room all day with my familey watching his breathing get shallower. So later that night he died and i was right there and saw the whole thing. It was the worst thing ive ever seen in my life and i cannot forget it. I never got to tell him i loved him while he was awake. And thats the first person who has died close to me. Sorry its so long. But thats my worst memory.

When I was 10 years old my brother and cousin locked me in a closet at the funeral home where my grandmas funeral was taking place. It was dark and they told me I was in the room where they stored the bodies. I screamed for about 15 minutes until some one came. I never did get over being affraid of the dark. And I have to take a tranquilzer to attend a funeral.

This isn't exactly a feel good thread, is it? Sorry about your grandfather. Here is my worst memory:

When I was in 3rd grade and my dad hit me so hard on the face that I had a giant bruise and had to miss school for a week. I'll never forget the physical and emotional pain.

mine was when i was in the hospital visiting my dad durin his last few days. i had come with my mom after work and had passed out because i had come by right after working a double shift. 20 mins later nurses came rushing in because my dad was having a seizure. waking up to my dad having a seizure was probably the worst memory i will ever have.

Watching the love of my life kiss another man right in front of my face purposely to hurt me.

That or, having tried to find her, finding out that she had married and had children--that is when I completely gave up. Both were incredibly painful.

Failure at my dream. That one is worse than having a shotgun in my mouth, being stabbed, or even of being molested.
