Water is a perfect example. Water is good for you. Too much water can be very bad. Hyperhydration occurs when your body's electrolytes are diluted by the overconsumption of water. This condition can lead to brain damage and/or death. So too much of a good thing can definitely be bad.

Yes, I believe that too much of a good thing can be bad, for two reasons: 1. you get used to having that certain thing, and you won't know how to let it go. 2. you never have the opportunity to learn and open your mind to new things.
