Don't women have their periods for the first couple of months?

Generally speaking, you usually have to wait until the first day of your missed period.

Pregnancy tests look for the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) that is only produced once the fertilized egg has implanted in the uterine wall. In most cases, this happens about 6 days after conception. But studies show that in up to 10 percent of women, the embryo doesn't implant until much later, after the first day of the missed period. So, home pregnancy tests will be accurate as soon as one day after a missed period for some women but not for others

If you are pregnant you may experience early implantation bleeding that is sometimes mistaken for a period. But you can start testing as early as 7 days before your period is due but probably won't get a positive until around 4 days before your period is due - try the EPT Early Test.

A pregnancy test should show up positive 10 days after conception.

U can find out if u are preg. as soon as 7 days from ur missed period. if u do not get one then take the test like a week from now and it will tell u.

You can test as early as 3 days before your period is due, although the longer you can wait..the better.

You can take a pregnancy test in 2 weeks.And you don´t get your period at all if you are pregnant.
