Can someone please answer this for me??

I really want to know the meaning of the colors burgandy and brown. What do they signify... if anything? I am not sure if this is in the correct area, and if not I do apologize. Thanks!

Depends on what you are aiming for with the colors.
From a mystical/magical perspective try this:

Magickal Purpose: Fire, passion, life, birth, stimulating, intense, highly-charged, will, ego, potential, anger, aggression, lust, war, courage, strength, fear. Its use in magick must be cautiously guarded as it can be very wild and unpredictable, as a candle color, it should be used with caution.

The Personality: Bold, assertive, impulsive, extroverted, passionate, aggressive. There is no in-between for this person, they go from one extreme to the other. But it can be a fantasy ride for anyone who joins them!

Burgundy is a dark and a very RED brown colour (like a very dark wine).

Brown is the colour of the earth, or soil. It still has a sort of red appearance, but it is so dark that one could not call it red anymore. So if you take red, and a very small amount of blue and mix them together to make a very slightly blue red, then start mixing in some black you will get burgundy. If you keep adding black (and maybe a little yellow), it will go beyond burgundy into brown.

Bugundy and Brown are colours that can work togther, I think it maybe a little on the dark side, but that is a matter of taste.

I think I have seen this combination in some artists work from the American 1930s.

To me, brown is earthy...home, warmth and security
Burgundy is rich, forfilling, over abundant and sultry
