No, it doesn't make me feel proud at all.
I do not support any part of this war at all and while I feel badly for those who are shipped away to far corners of the world to fight a fight they should not be involved in, ultimately, it IS a strictly volunteer military. I don't think this makes me any less patriotic than anyone else. I am proud to be an American. And I did my civic duty of 17+ years. So I'm not criticizing our military and not contributing back. I have. But I am proud to be able to have the right to DISAGREE with the global politics of my government and to DISAGREE with this war.
I am not proud that my countrymen are fighting in a foreign land against people who would be better off duking it out in their own civil war and solving their problems without our interference.

Send this link to Glenn Beck at the link below he will get this story out to the masses. Bravo Zulu My Man I stand tall and commend he for the bravery and unselfish act(s) you have done for your fellow man.

Our country has done far more for others than any other country, for that i am proud to be american and i'm glad they show things like this instead of always focusing on the bad things we've done.

yes! folks forget that these soldiers volunteered to defend our country and all the negative media that the war gets only emboldens our ememy. If your against the war, take it up with the politicians and not in a way that conveys to our enemy that we are not supportive of our troops.

Absolutely makes me proud. Why doesn't the mainstream media show more of this? The media infuriate me.
