You couldn't be more wrong. I've been to many peaceful protests, including peace demonstrations against the actions in Afganistan and Iraq. There are often hecklers (usually on the sidelines) who shout at us and call us "idiots" and say they support the war. These people are far outnumbered by what you might call "peace activists", but I've never seen anyone use violence (or even bother arguing) against one of these hecklers. How about you leave the house and attend a peace rally, then you wouldn't have make inane statements asserting that people who beleive in peace would beat you to death. You can only get the know a small part of the world looking at conservative blogs all day. Try talking to someone with a different opinion than you, I bet you won't be beat to death. In fact, one time a guy tried to physically intimidate me(this was 2003 right before the Iraq invasion) because I was holding a sign saying "no blood for oil" he shouted about "they have nuclear weapons over there". I argued with him and he even pushed me and took my sign. I wonder if he followed the news enough to realize how wrong he was.

And how many counter-protests have been murdered so far at anti-war protests?
As far as I know, the answer is none. You may get shouted at, but if you're going to counter-protest, you have to expect it.
And as far as you're concerned about the "human rights" thing, you're just plain wrong. Number one "human rights" is more of a governmental issue, so a protester shouting at you has nothing to do with human rights. Even if they killed you, that would be a murder. For it to be a human rights issue, the anti-war protesters would have to begin a campaign of killing pro-war counter-demonstrators all across the country.
And, that's not going to happen.
So, let's put our tinfoil hats back on so that we can actually look at evidence (no one has been murdered at a protest) and realize that we're exaggerating our point just a bit.

As WBrian_28 very eloquently points out no supporters of the Iraq war have been killed at anti-war demonstrations, as far as we are aware, and the odd one does show up, of course.
You're on to something here, though. Pro-war in Iraq or anti-war in Iraq, we all come from similar cultural backgrounds and so we grow up adopting similar moral codes. I think that many 'peaceniks' have issues going on in their personal lives and rather than seeking resolution within they unleash their anger through demonstrating against war. I think that many 'pro-war in Iraq' people have issues going on in their personal lives and rather than seeking resolution within they latch on to the idea that the enemy is without and is anti-democratic, or Islamic fundamentalism, or whatever they see as the valid reason for invading Iraq (i.e. there is an enemy there that needs to be killed).
I think our real, underlying views and beliefs about things are a lot closer than we might think.

Wow you have a point. Nothing is like Gandhi or MLK anymore. God help us. But I do have to say one thing God help the marins keep it together. Forgive them for there abuse of the power they have and help them forgive and supress there anger towards the iraq people because not every one is guilty. I have not problem with wiping cruelty off the world, but don't slay the innocent.I hope the whole world can get there **** together. I have only heard bits and pieces about the marine attacks on innocent Iraq people.. Please if you know something don't leave me in the dark or get offended of my ignorance educate me.

Thank you! That is absolutely true. I hate those protesters. I am also sure that if we were to stop the Iraq war and let Iraq plunge into civil war that those same protesters would protest how we shouldn't have let Iraq plunge into civil war. With all these protesting liberals it is a lose-lose situation.

I seriously doubt that anyone would kill you. You are not worth jail time. I have noticed that those who want the right to have opposing view points like you - are the last ones to give credit to the Veterans that have defended & given their lives so you can ask assanine question & statements. You have peace because we were willing to go to war to defend your right to peace.

Hi there,
The ability to read is vital for success. It helps your child succeed in school, helps them build self-confidence, and helps to motivate your child. Being able to read will help your child learn more about the world, understand directions on signs and posters, allow them to find reading as an entertainment, and help them gather information.
Here you can find a step-by-step online program that can help your child learn to read: http://readingprogram.toptips.org
Learning to read is very different from learning to speak, and it does not happen all at once. There is a steady progression in the development of reading ability over time. The best time for children to start learning to read is at a very young age - even before they enter pre-school. Once a child is able to speak, they can begin developing basic reading skills. Very young children have a natural curiosity to learn about everything, and they are naturally intrigued by the printed texts they see, and are eager to learn about the sounds made by those letters. You will likely notice that your young child likes to look at books and thoroughly enjoys being read to. They will even pretend to behave like a reader by holding books and pretend to read them.

sorry...don't think so....
I do often say, it's the people who complain most about taxes and welfare and such that would be the first to have their hands out if they "fell on bad times."
