....even though I have never worked in the field. I am a commodities risk manager but would much rather do somehthing more creative like being a procurement manager for a major fashion label.....
Is anyone hiring? Can someone put me onto a fashionhouse in London who needs someone who if financially astute yet looking for a change of work environment? I will go crazy if I dont do something creative..........

Have you considered doing a part-time course relevant to the Fashion Industry?
The 'Bit of Paper' is often what counts, as in teaching, and yet so many people with creative ability and an eye for what 'is good' get passed by!
If UK, try searching the Job Engines (eg www.jobcentreplus.co.uk ) and maybe get your name & CV sent to a few (carefully selected) Agencies?
